THIERRY ALLEMAND Cornas Chaillot 2010

2013 Top 100 - Rank # 8
The 2010 Thierry Allemand Cornas Chaillot is at a infant stage right now, but this stunning wine still offers a mouthful of ripe, densely concentrated blackberry and dark plum fruit followed by classic Cornas characteristics of cracked pepper, exotic spices, salted meat, herbs and fresh lavender. The balance and finesse is already evident as well as the structure and long mouth-coating finish. This is such a beautiful, pure expression of Syrah and all the pieces are in place for this to develop into a truly great Cornas, it will just need some time. (Best 2017-2035) - July, 2013 (JD)
