The 2013 Condrieu 'Cuvée Brèze' from Louis Cheze is a fantastic and delicious offering. It comes from vines that are just under 25-years-old and aged 9 months in new and used French oak barrels. There are highly complex aromas of fresh herb, honey, tropical fruit, followed by hints of banana and white flowers. On the palate there is a lovely texture and viscous feel. The finish delivers a zing of citrus peel and fresh mineral. This is a remarkable wine that is drinking well now and can be enjoyed for a few years to come. (Best 2015-2020) - July, 2015 (JD)
