The 2016 Chardonnay from Olivier Chanzy displays inviting aromas of Meyer lemon, green apple, almond, ripe melon and fresh spring flowers. On the palate this possesses layers of fresh citrus and orchard fruits with a smooth texture backed by a vibrant streak of acidity lasting through the finish. While this is fantastic now, it should also continue to show well over the next year or two.
