One of the most esteemed sources for Pinot Gris in Alsace, Zind-Humbrecht continues to produce beautifully balanced wines. Brownish hue yielding complex aromas of ripe pear, honey, and apricots. Viscous, oily and fat on the mouth, displaying impressive density. An amalgamation of honey, golden delicious apple, Marcona almond, vanilla cream and almost a touch of botrytis in this semi-sweet style of wine. With the acidity to last another decade, this is hard to put down now. (Best 2015-2025) - July, 2015 (OB)
