The 2014 ‘Cote du Py’ is a simply gorgeous showing, which begins with pretty aromas of fresh red berries and pomegranate followed by blood orange, zesty spices, smoke and dried rose petals all taking shape in the glass. On the palate this is light to medium-bodied and beautifully textured with fine, silky tannins and a racy core of acidity and high-toned red fruit. It continues to demonstrate excellent precision and balance all the way through vibrant finish. This will be best with some additional bottle age as it will continue to develop and gain complexities over the next few years. (Best 2017-2024) - June, 2016 (JD)
