The 2012 Vosne-Romaneé from Domaine Jean Grivot is lovely from the second the cork is pulled. Aromas of wild red and black berries soar from the glass, followed by smoke, spices, dried floral, pine sap and earthy minerals. On the palate this is medium-bodied with a sleek texture which makes it impossible to resist. Today is showing extremely well and even at this youthful age it is already quite accessible.
