The 2017 Côte Rôtie from Jamet begins with lovely aromatics of cherries, plum, pepper, lavender and crushed stones all taking shape. The palate is medium-bodied and silky, with a lovely combination of fruit and acidity that impresses through the finish, where it continues to show wonderful freshness and elegance. Overall, a gorgeous wine, however it will require some additional bottle age, but will go on to provide pleasure for many years to come.
