The 2011 Pierre-Luc Bouchaud 'Le Perd son Pain' is a lovely Muscadet which comes from 50 year old vines and aged on its lees for 7 months prior to bottling. It delvers an incredible sense of freshness on the nose, with lots of citrus, green apple, honeydew melon, fresh mineral and white floral. It possesses wonderful purity with racy acidity before turning dry on the finish. A fantastic showing. (Best 2014-2017) - June, 2014 (JD)
