The 2011 Chateau Ribebon immediately opens with ripe dark fruits, spices, tobacco, pain grille and a wonderful fresh character. This wine impresses with its lovely balance and finesse along with the long lasting finish. Just an incredible value and a great Bordeaux to drink as an everyday wine. Tasted at Château. Previous Tasting Note: The 2011 Chateau de Ribebon is not quite as ripe and foward as last years excellent showing, but it still offers more than its fair share of blackberry, currant and spicy characteristics. It brings lots of richness in a plush style. Finishes up fresh with ripe fruit lingering. 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. (Best 2014-2017) - 88 Points, March, 2013
