Year after year the quality from Chateau Ribebon has been on the rise and 2015 may be the most impressive yet. This belend of 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc displays a lovely dark color, this bursts opens with aromatics of dark cherries, coffee, spices, tobacco notes all coming together beautifully. The palate is velvety and polished with lovely overall balance leading into the long finish. This is already drinking extremely well and and should continue to do so over the next handful of years. One of the best values I have seen from this excellent vintage in Bordeaux.
