The 2010 Clos des Brusquieres Chateauneuf-du-Pape delivers notes of dark plum, raspberry, boysenberry, damp earth, garrigue, dark chocolate, spice, wet stone. The gorgeous rich silky texture caresses your palate all the way through the finish where it picks up a bittersweet chocolate character. The blend consists of 68% grenache, 15% mourvedre, 13% syrah and 4% cinsault from vines averaging 40 years in age with some vines dating back to the early 1900s.
