The 2013 Les Quartz is a wonderful entry into the wines of Clos du Caillou. A refined Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with aromas of black berries and dark cherries along with exotic spices, lavender, and hints of minerals. This blend of 85% Grenache, 15% Syrah is medium-bodied, with soft tannins, nicely balanced, ending with a clean pretty finish laced with ripe red fruits.
