The 2014 Château Maucoil Blanc is a blend of Clairette (30%), Bouboulenc (30%), White Grenache (30%), Roussane (10%). It has a lovely fragrance, with aromas green apple, fresh spring flowers, lemon tea, pear and hints of dried fruit and herbs. Shows wonderful purity with a soft texture and good acidity on the finish. Overall, a very solid effort that can last 6-8 more years. (Best 2016-2024) - September, 2015 (MD)
