The 2013 Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe is all about elegance. However today, this is still extremely youthful, offering characteristics which are somewhat Burgundian, with bright aromas of fresh black and red raspberries woven together with dried florals and spices along with wet stones and hints of orange zest. This wine is beautifully made, demonstrating wonderful overall balance and finesse with a gorgeous fine, silky texture through the finish. The 2013 will demand some additional bottle age, but I expect it to continue to develop and change dramatically over the next decade. (Best 2019-2029) - October, 2015 (JD)
