The 2013 Château Sixtine opens with aromas of cherries and ripe cassis followed spices and an earthy character. This really impresses on the palate with its outstanding overall balance depth and concentration along with a gorgeous plush texture. The finish is laced with delicious ripe dark fruits and hints of bittersweet chocolate that continue to linger on. This is already showing extremely well but expect us to evolve even further with additional bottle age. (Best 2016-2025) - October, 2015 (JD)
