The 2015 Clos Saint Michel is composed of 40% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 30% Mourvèdre which opens to inviting aromas of cherries and sweet raspberries woven together with wild herbs along with a touch licorice and light spice notes all taking shape in the glass. Medium-full bodied with a gorgeous round velvety texture that is nicely concentrated and beautifully coats the palate. Sweet red fruits continue to leave a lasting impression on the finish. While appealing now I expect this will become even more compelling as it takes on additional characteristics over time. (Best 2019-2030) - November, 2017 (JD)
