The 2015 ‘Cornelia Constanza’ Châteauneuf-du-Pape begins with aromatics of dark cherries and plums laced with exotic spices, licorice and traces of hazelnut all coming together in the glass. On the palate this is full-bodied, with gorgeous round tannins and a lovely soft velvety texture that expands through across the palate. Flavors of cherries and dark chocolate leave a lasting impression on the long finish. This is wonderful now and should continue to evolve gracefully over the course of the next decade and beyond.
