The 2016 Domaine de Nalys Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a blend of 62% Grenache, 19% Syrah, 6% Counoise and the remaining 13% is composed of Mourvèdre, Vaccarère, Cinsault, Terret Noir and Muscardin. This begins with pretty aromas of red berry, strawberry preserve, dark cherry, currant and earthy nuances. A medium-bodied red with firm tannins and notable structure. Appealing today, but should coninue to develop over the next 7-10 years.
