The Domaine de Nalys Châteauneuf-du-Pape Reserve is a blend of 73% Syrah, 18% Grenache and 9% Mourvèdre. It opens to an inviting and extreamly complex aromas of black raspberries, dark plums, bramble berry, roasted coffee, black tea, white pepper, exotic spices, forest floor and savory nuances all taking shape. This is beautifully structured with excellent overall balance, backed by a supple mouthfeel which is underlined by a lovely touch of acidity that keeps it fresh and inviting through the long finish. This is already quite appealing today and should continue to develop beautifully over the course of the next decade.
