The 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Domaine de Père Caboche is composed of 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre which is sourced from their vineyards located on the famous plateau of ‘la Crau’. This lovely wine begins with aromatics of cherries and plums which come together with pepper, floral and roasted herbs, all coming together in the glass. On the palate this possesses medium body with a round, soft texture underlined by a touch of acidity adding a fresh character through the finish. A lovely wine to drink now or let age for a few years in the cellar.
