The 2014 Ladoix 1er Cru 'La Corvee' from Domaine Gaston & Pierre Ravaut delivers pretty aromas of red berries woven together with spices, dried floral, wet stones and a touch of smoke. Elegant and refined, this medium-bodied red supported by silky tannins and possesses wonderful balance with gorgeous acidity. The finish is precise with red fruits and spice notes lingering on. This should continue to evolve beautifully over the next decade, however allow this another year or two of bottle age to begin to show its best. (Best 2019-2026) - April, 2017 (JD)
