The 2009 Saint Jean du Barroux Côtes du Ventoux l'Argile delivers ripe blackberry and black cherries along with dark chocolate, licorice and floral. Everything is wrapped in rich silky tannins that caress your palate before working their way into the long chewy finish. This has lots of potential but could use a bit more time to settle down, so be patient. (Best 2015-2022) - September, 2012 (JD)
