The Saarburger Rausch Kabinett is another absolutely outstanding Riesling in this vintage from Hanno Zilliken. This mineral driven Riesling instantly bursts open with striking aromatics of citrus and white peach surrounded by slate and wet stony minerals. On the palate this is refined and beautifully focused with the perfect balance of fruit, acidity and minerality, which continues to carry on through the finish. Overall, this is a wonderfully nuanced Riesling, which is simply delicious now and will surely continue to impress over the next decade and beyond. (Best 2017-2030) - May 2017 (JD)
