The 2011 'Opera Mia' Taurasi opens to nuances of dark cherries, blackberries and spices along with hints of dried floral, leather, toast, hazelnut and licorice, which all come together to form the inviting aromatic profile. On the palate this possesses a full body, which shows wonderful poise and structure, framed by flavors of dark cherries and spices that expand and linger on long finish. This is drinking beautifully right now, and should continue to do so over the course of the nexr few years. (Best 2017-2021) - August, 2017 (OB)
