The 2010 Oddero Barbera d'Alba is made in more of a traditional style, offering aromas of raspberries and cherries along with smoke, tar and herbs which leap from the glass. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and a beautiful silky texture that leads right into the focused finish. The fruit was aged in 50-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels for 12 months and is ready to drink upon release. (Best 2013-2016) - June, 2013 (JD)
