The 2010 Castelgiocondo Brunello di Montalcino is absolutely amazing, instantly releasing aromas of freshly crushed dark cherries and blackberries along with sweet spices, savory herbs, floral and minerals which resonate through the wine. This is full-bodied and balanced showing excellent depth and focus. It makes a gorgeous transition into the silky, yet firm finish making it impossible to resist. Today the wine is already showing fantastic and it looks as if this will be accessible early. (Best 2016-2029) - March, 2015 (JD)
