The Armilla Brunello di Montalcino is a fantastic showing in 2010. It delivers wonderful aromas of red berries and cherries mixed with sweet spices, fresh floral, orange zest and wet stones. This classy Brunello is structured around fine tannins and a beautiful silky texture which shows lovely finesse through the finish. This continues to evolve with each second in the glass and I expect to continue to do so over the course of the next decade. Although the wine is extremely appealing today, it will show best with a few more years of bottle age. (Best 2017-2029) - March, 2015 (JD)
