This is a single vineyard designation from the La Casa vineyard, located in the north-central end of Brunello. This wine begins with aromatics of oak, baking spices, black cherry and red raspberry. This leads to flavors of red cherry, alongside lithe minerality. There is a wonderful saline component to the wine alongside some silky tannins. This is one that will just build wonderful complexity with some years in the cellar. Overall, this is another outstanding release from Caparzo. (Best 2016-2030) - January, 2016 (OB)
