The 2010 Tenuta Vitanza Riserva opens with wonderful aromas of dark cherries and blackberries which come together with spices, dried floral, leather with an underlying hint of hazelnut. This is well structured with silky, yet nicely polished tannins and notable depth leading up to the long finish. This is already quite appealing, but will likely be at its best after some short term cellaring. (Best 2017-2028) - February, 2016 (JD)
