The 2010 ‘Rocche dell’Annunziata’ Barolo is a flat out stunning showing, impressive for it’s purity, focus as well as remarkable balance and finesse that will instantly win you over. The gorgeous aromas and flavors of candeied strawberries and ripe cherries are accompanied by smoke, floral, licorice and vanilla which resonate through the wine. The tannins are extremely soft and round as they glide effortlessly into the sleek finish which is layered with sweet red fruits. Today, this was drinking absolutely fantastic and didn't miss a beat from start to finish, just a beautiful, harmonious wine. (Best 2015-2030) - July, 2014 (JD)
