The 2010 classic Barolo from Oddero is is composed of a blend of Nebbiolo sourced from Bricco Chiesa, Capalot and Bricco Fiasco from Castigilione Falletto. It is elegant and refined with pretty aromas of strawberry, licorice, floral, smoke and mint, which all come together beautifully in the glass. Silky, yet firm, showing excellent structure, finishing up long and pretty with lovely red fruits and spices lingering. Although this will need a bit more time its a remarkable showing and superb entry into the fantastic range of 2010s from Oddero. This (Best 2016-2027) - July, 2014 (JD)
