The 2011 Albarella Barolo from Andrea Oberto is absolutely brilliant. Ripe dark cherries, plums, floral, earthy mineral and licorice notes all come together beautifully. It continues to impress with its outstanding balance, which is backed by a wonderful fine, polished texture. It finishes up with remarkable focus and precision, showing excellent length.
