Produced from the estates younger vines the 'Casina Nouva' offers pretty aromas of freshly sliced strawberries and red berries woven together with floral, spices, minerals, licorice and a eucalyptus character. It has a lovely fine, silky texture and wonderful balance of fruit and acidity through the fresh finish. It looks as if this will be accessible earlier than some of the other Barolo from Elvio Cogno.
