The 2010 Barolo by Pietro Rinaldi is a stunning release from this estate that begins with sexy aromatics of red cherry and red currants laced with black truffles, forest floor, cigar box and hints of pencil shavings. The slight mustiness and vegetal quality to this wine is truly lovely. The palate is lithe, currently displaying flavors of red fruits and blood orange with forest floor accents. The range of flavors and aromatics is quite impressive as this is drinking remarkably well despite its obvious youth. (Best 2017-2030) - March, 2017 (OB)
