The 2013 San Biagio Barolo 'Sorano' begins with lovely nuances of red fruits, ripe red raspberries, clove spices, rose petals and hints of smoky aromatics all taking shape. Moderately tannic, this is framed by precise flavors of red cherries, black tea, leather and rose water, which sit alongside wonderful minerality. This beautiful Barolo is accessible now, but will also cellar marvelously for up to a decade. (Best 2018-2028) - August, 2017 (OB)
