The 2013 Alta Montagna Barolo is a lovely showing. Opening with aromatics of dark cherries, spices, leather, floral and eucalyptus, which all build in the glass. Medium-bodied and well structured with fine-grained tannins, which grip hold on the finish. A Barolo to drink now or cellar and watch evolve for a few years. (Best 2018-2025) - December, 2017 (JD)
