The 2006 San Valentino Rosso is an exotic and unique wine, offering gorgeous aromas of ripe plums, sweet pipe tobacco, green tea and spices all taking shape in the glass. Medium-full bodied, with silky tannins and a pretty finish. This is accessible now, but should continue to evolve over the next few year as it fleshes out. (Best 2011-2016) - December, 2012 (JD)
