The 2018 Valpolicella Superiore Ripassa offers inviting aromatics of ripe dark cherries and dried plums which are accented by sweet spices, tobacco, wet stones, dried flowers and hints of smoke. On the palate this is medium to medium to full-bodied, ultra-velvety and beautifully polished, delivering a mouthful of ripe, dark berries, raisin and floral character , which all lead up to the soft, seamless finish. This is already drinking Beautifuly and Should also continue to evolve nicely over the next few years.
