2013 Top 100 - Rank # 78 The 2009 Granato is a phenomenal wine, this 100% Teroldego comes from three different vineyards of the Campo Rotaliano. It offers gorgeous aromas of blackberries, dark cherries, herbs, spices combined with hints of coffee and lovely minerality. Full-bodied and richly textured with round, polished tannins and wonderful underlying acidity. This demonstrates amazing depth, underlying power and a long finish that leaves behind a mouthful full of silky dark fruits. Elizabeth Foradori has done a marvelous job with this Granato which is drinking very well right now with just short contact with air and is sure to develop even further in bottle.
