The 2010 'Piano del Sorti' is a terrific showing from Tenuta la Novella. It immediately opens with enticing aromas of blackberries, black cherries, spices, floral, earth and a touch of lightly toasted oak which all come together beautifully in the glass. This full-bodied red is well balanced and shows excellent laters of depth. It all comes together in a round polished finish. This is already delicious, but will certainly be even better if allowed time to fully develop. (Best 2017-2027) - March, 2015 (JD)
