Dense and focused with black cherry, spicy oak, licorice and crushed floral. Full-bodied and well structured with a long finish. You can get away with drinking this now, but if you can wait another 2-3 years you will be much better off. The 2007 Gagliole is a blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged a minimum 14 months in french oak barriques, 70% new wood, 30% second or third passage. (Drink 2012-2021) - September, 2011 - (JD)
