December, 2011 - The 2010 Domenico Clerico Langhe Dolcetto Visadi has a nice rustic edge. This wine is packed with wild cherries along with mint leaves, licorice, smoke and fresh mineral. Really tightly wound with fine tannins and live acidity working into the long plush and chewy finish. The wine was aged 10 months in steel tanks and is still a bit young even for a Dolcetto so give it some air time if opening now. This would pair up nicely with some cured meats, cheeses or even sausages. (Drink 2012-2016) - JD
