The 2003 Rocca dei Bottari Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva delivers generous mouth full of black cherry, raisin, spicy cedar and dried tobacco. This full-bodied yet reserved red is round and chewy with a nice lingering finish as well. This is a nice drinking Montepulciano and would pair up nicely with veal or lamb dishes.
