The 2014 'Nerube' Montepulciano d'Abruzzo opens with inviting aromas of black raspberries and blueberries along with spices, dried herbs and fresh floral. On the palate this displays a lovely fresh character to the ripe fruit, which is backed with soft tannins and a supple mouthfeel through the finish, where light spices and dark fruits linger.
