The 2015 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from Jasci & Marchesani is a delicious and inviting red, which opens to aromas of dried red fruits along with earthy undertones. On the palate the wine shows off flavors of black plums, crushed mint, pipe tobacco and black cherry that connect with nice structure and fine tannins. Forward and seductive, this is showing well now and should continue to drink well over the next few years. (Best 2017-2024) - October, 2017 (OB)
