This 2006 Campo alla Sughera Bolgheri Superiore Arnione is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Aromas of blackberry, licorice, and spice, there is also a little sulfur or rubbery note which may fade as it opens up in the glass. Full-bodied, with round velvety tannins and a long finish. This was aged in French oak barrels for at least 18 months and matured for over 12 months once bottled (Drink 2012-2018) - March, 2012. (JD)
