KIM CRAWFORD Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Seventy percent of the grapes were selected from the Wairau Valley and the remaining from Awatere Valley. Bright, ample acid and alcohol that is kept in check make this a very food friendly wine. Notes that are grassy, herbaceous, and only lightly sweet play at a respectable volume that does not overwhelm. Expect meyer lemon, pineapple rind, and guava characteristics. (Best 2017-2019) - March, 2017 (JH)
