The 2014 Red from Duncan Savage is an intriguing blend of Syrah, Grenache, Touriga Nacional and Cinsaut. As this begins to open it displays pretty aromas of red raspberries and red currants, along with dried violets, lavender, potpourri, wet stones and hints of earthy characteristics, all taking shape in this vivid red. On the palate this is medium-bodied with bright acidity and flavors of red raspberries, cranberries and dried floral resonating through on to the vibrant finish.
