This blend of 80% Carignan and 20% Garnacha displays a dark opaque purple color with aromas of red cherries, blackberries, spices, pepper along with hints of olive and violets. On the palate this well structured red is full-bodied and intense with notable depth and concentration through the finish. Accessible today, but will be at its best with just a few more years of bottle age. (Best 2018-2028) - June, 2016 (JD)
