The 2014 'Golden Slope' Chardonnay is an absolutely exceptional showing from Liquid Farm. It comes from 7 different vineyards, Bentrock 26%, Rita's Crown 20%, Clos Pepe 18%, Kessler-Haak 12%, La Rinconada 10%, Zotovich 9%, and Hilliard Bruce 6%. This begins with gorgeous aromas of Meyer lemon, honey, green apple and flinty minerals all taking shape in the glass. It continues on to flavors of quince, honey, citrus, spice and crushed stone. The mid-palate weight is gorgeous with a wonderfully textured mouthfeel backed by bright acidity, which carries on through the long mineral driven finish.
